The Moon:"The light that shines over all lands."🌙

I often wonder how many secrets the moon has already heard whispered into the night. How many stolen kisses, silent goodbyes, desperate prayers, and promises meant to last forever have risen towards her pale light? How many secret encounters has she witnessed? And how many forgotten creatures has she watched emerge from the darkness before disappearing again with the dawn?

No matter where we wander, she follows without judgement, illuminating forgotten roads, abandoned cemeteries, lonely rooftops, and restless souls. She reminds us that even in our most solitary moments, we are never truly alone. Someone or something has always been watching. Perhaps that is why the moon has become one of the oldest symbols in folklore. She has inspired lovers, poets, witches, and monsters alike. Under her glow, ordinary people have imagined impossible things, and legends have been born, out of fear, out of hope.

Even a man who is pure in heart and says his prayers by night, May become a wolf when the wolfbane blooms And the autumn moon is bright.

The oldest Moon myth

Around 2100 BC, the Sumerians wrote myths explaining why the Moon waxes and wanes.

They believed Nanna sailed across the night sky every evening before disappearing into the underworld during the new moon. This is one of humanity's oldest recorded explanations for the Moon's phases.

This is an ancient Moon passage that comes from a Sumerian hymn:

"Father Nanna, whose radiance fills the heavens, whose light covers the land."

Someone wrote those words over 4,000 years ago, and every night we are looking at the same Moon they were.

This is the oldest surviving photograph of the Moon,

It was captured on March 26, 1840, by American scientist and NYU professor John William Draper. He used the early daguerreotype process with a 5-inch reflecting telescope on a New York City rooftop, capturing the lunar image with a 20-minute exposure.

Before Draper’s success, French inventor Louis Daguerre (the pioneer of photography) reportedly attempted to capture the Moon on January 2, 1839. However, his attempt was blurry, and his entire laboratory burned down a few months later, destroying all of his original images. This left Draper's 1840 daguerreotype as the oldest one left in existence. Sorce: HERE

Last night I met the Moon because she, too, seemed lonely. I stayed with her for a while, and we spoke in silence. She told me she had seen you.She refused to tell me where you were.

Instead, she smiled and whispered that you were searching for me beneath the very same sky. That somewhere, under the same ancient Moon, you were looking upward, hoping the stars would answer the questions we have been asking for decades.

¿ How long will you wait ...?

How long will you wait for her/him?

"There is always dignity in waiting. Because it's easy and villain is to replace (That person) (even if it's a piece of temporary replacement), the coward thing to do is console yourself in the fickle people who are always there and see you as a war trophy. The scoundrel is to forget (her/him) in an unworthy parentheses and then act as if nothing had happened. "

Freedom of Speech - La liberté de parole (Artists pay their tribute)

-Where is the ability to be tolerant?

A religion that incites violence and murder is not religion ... it's just madness created by hateful men.

I am so sorry to say that this is the first post of 2015.

-This  images went viral today,  many artists/ cartoonists  and  people in general made them. Sadly they were inspired on the sad events of today. The press was also attacked today and I won't stand for it.  I hate extremists, I hate people that believe they have the only and undeniable truth. I hate people that thinks that their beliefs are worth more than others beliefs. If tomorrow the Catholic Church would order us to kill non believers, I wouldn't do it... just because I have a brain, a mind of my own, and empathy for other human beings. I do not respect religions that spread hate and killings.

For the people that were killed today.

My soul speaks

Demether-shy

Since water’s high my eyes are dry
                                                                                   And I don’t long for anything…
My second-hand soul crashed the wall
Lying around in pieces…

My nights are long and I’m scared of the crimson dawn…

Sailing on the sea of liesWithout a compass…
Beneath this sky
There’s no seagull to show me where’s the shore…

Oh… I’m starving for love…

Show yourself, let me see
My reflection in your eyes
I am still lingering,
Listening to the songs of night…Alone…

Letters never came to me…
Where I am there’s no address…
No one rides by my lair,
The birds have flown away a long time ago

-Sometimes music expresses things so much better than words, especially this song. Strong people also need someone by their side when it's lonely, when it's though, when it hurts, don’t you agree?

" Only when I sleep "

Today, the moon came out early. I haven't seen the moon in broad daylight in a long time, and it made the day feel even better. People usually don’t look up at the sky, and I don't know why. They look ahead, behind, left, and right, but they never look up. Why do people refuse to believe there could be something above us? Or is it simply that dreamers look to the sky far too much?

When can you see the daytime moon?

  • The Best Time: Look within a week or so of the full moon.

  • Before the Full Moon: Look for the daytime moon in the afternoon.

  • After the Full Moon: Look for the daytime moon in the morning.

❝ I would like to sleep and sleep so my mind won't torment me with the cold reality, wandering these streets, feel the breeze and have no worries. I would like to dream for a long time, drown under the black night so the moon and the stars accompany me. My only company (sometimes).

The night better be eternal, I’m not talking about the darkness, I am talking about the long and comforting dreams we would have.❞

Mi Ășnica compañía (a veces).

-Now let me forget-

I take advantage of the night, I just want to close my eyes and forget the now. Now let me forget.

I just want to think about what it could be if ...I change the past and I modify my future. If I tell you yes, if I show you what I am and not what seem to be.

If you find me first.
